『Why does every girl want to be a model?』(ホワイ・ダズ・エブリ・ガール・ウォント・トゥー・ビー・ア・モデル？)〔意：女の子がみんなしてモデルになりたがるのってどうしてなんだろう？〕は、なにより検索エンジンとして名高いヤフーの送るサービスのひとつ―『ヤフー！知恵袋』の本家版すなわちヤフー！アンサーズ(Yahoo! Answers)に投稿された、ジャスト・ライク・ヘブン(Just Like Heaven)という名の利用者による質問である。

その部門を『美と装い』(Beauty & Style)に定めたうえで2008年の3月9日に放たれたこの質問は、その投稿者の定め置いた題がそこに全てを述する通り、世の若き女性らの誰しもがいわゆるモデルになることを欲するのはどうしてなのか―そこに本文を書き置くことなく、その題それのみをもってそのような問いを示した。

最終的に集まった回答はその総数25。やがては閲覧者による投票をもってそれらの中からいつしか『ベストアンサー』〔最良の回答〕が選び出されるに至り、終結の時を見たのであった。

わたくしなりたがってませんけど・・・まあ『ほとんど』の子はなりたがるけどさ・・・注目いっぱい浴びれるし、自分のこと見せつけれるし、いい服着れるし、色んなものタダで貰えちゃうし、有名人に会えちゃうし、お金いっぱい稼げちゃうし、撮影で世界中に行けちゃうし・・・・ んーーーーーーーーちょっとなりなくなってきたかも、ｗ 〔i wouldnt want to be a model... とりあえずあたしはモデル事務所のほうから声掛けられてモデルなるべきだって言われて始めた。その誘い受け入れた理由はお金のためってだけだった。これでボストンカレッジ（5歳のときから憧れてた大学）行けるかもってね。うちって中上流家庭なんだけどさ、あたし一人っ子とかじゃないから無理なんだよね学費出してもらうの。お金すんごいかかる大学だからさ。で学費稼げたら大学行ってさ、この頭活用してまともな仕事について地球を救えるかもってね（環境保護ばんざい）。 〔well i was told by a modeling agency that they wanted me and that i should be one. the only reason that i was like okay at first was because it would get me money so i could go to Boston College (my dream college since i was 5). and my family is middle class/upper middle class but im not the only kid so they cant really afford for me to go there because its so expensive. and then once i got the money to go there i could use my brain and get a real job and help the planet (GO GREEN)〕
