ビバリー・ジョンソンかな。米国版ヴォーグ誌の表紙を初めて飾った人。『白人』的な顔立ちに黒めの肌。更にエキゾチックな容姿をしたイマンの成功は、この人が色んな壁を壊してくれたおかげ。〔I would say Beverly Johnson. She was the first to be on the cover of American Vogue magazine. She had more 'white' features with darker skin. She broke down a lot of barriers for the more exotic looking Iman.〕

タイラに関してちょっとおかしいと思うのは、『うちら有色の女ってさ』みたいな言い方をよくすること。ヒスパニックの女の子はもちろん、白人のかなり多数と比べても薄い色してるのにだよ・・・それとも照明でそう見えてるだけなのかな？美人な黒人モデルにも真の黒人な人っていると思うんだよね。〔My only problem with Tyra is that she's always talking about "we women of color" when she looks lighter than a hispanic girl and a lot of white folks...
