{{yan|n=iansand}}{{yab|b=求めるものによって違うな。人間観賞ならボンダイ。タマラマなんかはグラマラマなんちゅう異称を持ってたりする。とにかく砂浜というならバレンジョイ南のノースパームビーチ、もしくはバンガン（歩きが必要になるがね）、ワンダにロイヤル国立公園内のビーチ群。ギャリーとかね。サーフィンならアバロン、ノースナラビーン、とまあそのへんかな。}} {{yao|o=Depends what you want. Bondi if people watching is your thing. Tamarama is called Glamourama for a reason (although it has a really nice break on the north side). If deserted beaches are your thing, North Palm Beach under Barrenjoey, Bungan (coz you have to walk for a bit) or Wanda and the Royal National Park beaches like Garie. For surf, Avalon, North Narrabeen and a host of others depending on swell direction.}}

I was always partial to Palm Beach near Pittwater. It was close enough to Sydney to get to by bus and not feel completely isolated but far enough away to feel as you were not in the city.}}
